Haiti Home of Hope - "Lakay Lespwa Ayiti"

A father of the fatherless... is God in His holy habitation. Psalm 68:5

Djimmy Augustin:

Djimmy was born on November 23, 2002. The Campbells saw two brothers (Djimmy and Geordani) at the hospital, where they were extremely malnourished. This was before the milk clinic was instituted, but the Campbells gave them milk in an effort to sustain and make healthy. As is a common trend, Geordani lost weight while Djimmy gained weight. The Campbells took Geordani in right away (in 2004), and offered to take Djimmy in when he turned 3. However, when Djimmy was three years old, his Grandmother told the Campbells that he had been sold as a child slave. However, Djimmy, being the mischievous little boy that he is, wouldn't work for the people who bought him. Out of options, the frustrated family eventually brought him to HHH in 2006.
