Haiti Home of Hope - "Lakay Lespwa Ayiti"

A father of the fatherless... is God in His holy habitation. Psalm 68:5

Joel:

We are not certain when Joel was born, but he was a child slave, Joel ran away from several abusive homes. The last place he lived was with a witch doctor, and people told him he needed to run away to Haiti Home of Hope. One night in September of 2009, Joel crawled under the gate and sat just inside and waited until morning. The Campbells took him in the next morning when they found that he was partially blind and had no family. We estimate that he is around 10-13 years old.
